The current government claimed that reducing wealth disparity is one of their main priorities. Likewise, a World Bank study revealed that most Indonesians are quite concerned about the subject. However, the same study also showed how Indonesians underestimate the level of inequality in the country and tend to believe that they are placed in the middle of the income distribution. These misperceptions are correlated to the policies that they expect from the government. This is the first academic research in the Singapore context that looks into the complex linkages between transnational mobilities of laborers and consumers, the emerging casino economy, and the transforming regulatory regime that evolves with the establishment of new linkages. This research aims to enable fresh understanding of how the state, society and the market interact in complex ways, which will drive future research on global mobilities, technologies of regulation, and local-global connections.

Southeast Asia and New Theorizations of Global Mobilities Description This research project aims to develop new frameworks in theorizing global mobilities by conceptualising the historical and contemporary migration pathways and spaces as well as their intersections. In particular, this project treats Southeast Asia as a window and focuses on transnational Chinese migration, the movements within a trans-Islamic space as well as migration enabled or facilitated by the former imperial and colonial systems.

This project critically reviews and synthesizes current scholarship on migration using both historical and contemporary documents, incorporating academic and popular materials that have been produced in non-English linguistic and cultural zones.

Also, 2 I want to know if it is safe for a woman to hike up the Saleve or any mountain alone on weekdays when only few people use the paths. Appreciate any information you can give me. Hi M, In our website http: You can also buy a guide book that I recommend: This guide is in French. Concerning your second question, it is never recommended to hike alone in the mountains.

A simple sprain, an attack by a swarm of bees or other trivial incident may have serious consequences if you are alone. If you do"go it alone”, you should either be completely familiar with the trail, or experienced enough to be able to orient yourself, read a map, and use a compass. You should acquaint yourself with the region and not be afraid of meeting dogs or dangerous people.

It is easy to lose your way and in case of doubt turn back. The weather can change without warning and that can put you to danger of sliding, losing your way or a cruel drop in temperature a risk of hypothermia. Be aware of the time:

For those of you who haven’t read it, this thread is essentially about bringing deterministic reward structures back into wow. Justice and Valor points were mentioned by some of the users in the thread. The first thing I’m about to say has already been said multiple times over various forums: Just like we had before. Where Justice and Honor points are the more casual types of currerncy, and where Valor and Conquest points are the more"high-end” ones.

The difference between Valor points and Conquest points is that the amount of Conquest points that were available to you every week depended on your arena rating. You had a higher cap the higher rating you had, eg skill. What about creating a similar system but for PvE? I don’t know if this has been brought up before, but basically my idea is this: The higher PvE rating you achieved last week, the higher your weekly cap of valor points will be for the next week.

If you didnt spend any points during a week that weeks worth of cap will be added towards the next week.

Measurement[ edit ] In social psychology , interpersonal attraction is most-frequently measured using the Interpersonal Attraction Judgment Scale developed by Donn Byrne. This scale seems to be directly related with other measures of social attraction such as social choice, feelings of desire for a date, sexual partner or spouse, voluntary physical proximity, frequency of eye contact, etc.

Kiesler and Goldberg analyzed a variety of response measures that were typically utilized as measures of attraction and extracted two factors: The second factor included variables such as voting for, admiration and respect for, and also seeking the opinion of the target. Studies suggest that all factors involve social reinforcement. The impact of familiarity, for example, is shown in the way physical proximity and interaction enhances cohesiveness, a social concept that facilitates communication and positive attitude towards a particular individual on account of similarities or the ability to satisfy important goals.

The Datathon was a six-week event where NUS students are mentored by industry experts and seasoned programmers to develop new IoT data-driven applications that solve real challenges faced by small and medium enterprises SMEs. Following the launch on 30 January, teams went through a Mini Academy in February and March where they received technical mentorship on programming concepts and product development.

The Datathon culminated on 17 March, when the finalists presented their proofs of concept to a team of judges and showcased their prototypes at an exhibition. Through the Datathon, students gained technical skills by learning practical programming from scratch, problem-solving skills as well as exposure to Singapore’s entrepreneurial landscape through industry engagement.

The event also opened up a diverse talent pipeline for local SMEs. The Datathon drew 69 teams, who were presented four problem statements facing companies in the sectors of healthcare, clean energy and smart technologies.
